Accessibility and disability

Our training programs are delivered in synchronous virtual classrooms. This format removes some of the obstacles linked to travel, but it creates others. We examine every accommodation request, whatever it is.

Your disability officer

Pierre MEDINA, president and trainer, is the disability officer of Knowledge Ladder Academy.

How to report a need

You can write to us at any time, before or during the training. The positioning questionnaire sent to you before each session also includes a dedicated question.

Report your need to us at least one week before the session starts whenever possible. Some accommodations, in particular those relating to a certification exam, require lead time with the certification body.

You do not have to tell us the nature of your disability or provide any medical document. We need to know the accommodation required, not its origin.

What we do with your request

  1. We call you back within 5 business days to understand the need.

  2. We propose the possible accommodations: pace, length of sequences, format of materials, subtitling, extra time, assessment arrangements.

  3. We inform the trainer, without passing on any personal information.

  4. If a certification exam is involved, we submit the accommodation request to the certification body.

  5. If we cannot meet the need, we tell you so and refer you to a partner organization.

When the need goes beyond what we can offer, we refer to the competent organizations:

  • Agefiph

    for the private sector, and its Ressource Handicap Formation service

  • FIPHFP

    for the public sector

  • Cap emploi

    for support into and within employment

  • MDPH

    of the département, for recognition and entitlements

Protection of your data

Information relating to an accommodation need is processed in our training management tool, for the sole duration required to organize the session. It is neither copied into our other tools nor disclosed to the client funding the training. You have a right of access, rectification and erasure at the address above.
